Kimberly's Story
Life
Milt and I moved to New Mexico recently after spending the past three years caring for family in Ohio. We're buying property where we can soon resume our pursuits. Milt hopes to have his stained glass workshop/studio up and running soon, and to become involved in the huge arts community of this region. I'll be illustrating an academic text on primates, and plugging away at a couple manuscripts on early fossil human locomotion. And who knows what else. Since we're now living in The Land of Enchantment-- where everyday truly can be just like a vacation!!!--no doubt we'll continue to enjoy the many cultural and recreational offerings of NM, and hope to host family and friends here at the, uh, 'hacienda' as soon as the renovations allow.
2006 ...Expand for more
Update: We've been here in NM for two years...time sure flies! Milt has his stained glass pieces in a gallery, and I've taken an interest in Southwestern archaeology. We did some architectural/historical preservation work for a while, and have recently joined the Red Cross. We've met so many great people here in NM and really feel we're 'home' at last. And I've discovered there are few things that can't be made a whole lot better with a really good tortilla.
2009 Update: It's been 5 years--!!!--now in the aptly named Land of Enchantment. I decided to get back into the fine art after about 14 years away from it...and just in time for the economic meltdown--such is life! Milt's been making a lot of furniture, and also branching out into sculpture.
