Don's Story
Life
Went to college in late '74 after a close brush with possible military deployment required by my father but made OCS, got disabled in '76 in a motorcycle wreck, lost two of my close friends from rosemont, Robby Raider and Mark Click in '77, graduated in '80, fell in love in '81 lost her to cancer in '99, went back to teach college in "86 came home in '89 due to my dad dying, been here ever since, still an Architect, still in Waxahachie, still single, still having fun, almost got married in '02 and NOW GETTING OLD!! have four dogs, one field trial champ pointer, I cook the best brisket you have ever eaten, starting to have health issues after 31 years in a chair, travel to hunt three times a year, still ...Expand for more
enjoy many freinds from sunset, tired of country life, have trained german sheppards for 33 years now, shoot alot, dont go out much anymore, feeling old age even though I work out every day and am the same size I was at 35, its the arthrithus, can't stick with one woman and am tired of trying, live too far from my friends, gas sucks, want to retire but its about 5 years too early, there are still people that don't care about wheelchair access even though it's a civil right, we don't plan on any million man march I don't think, mom's re-married and doing good at 84, I've had two surgeries that almost killed me in the past four years, still work every day but trying to stay part time now, working on a new goal!
