Life After graduation, I went to NETC (CMTC). While attending school, I worked 2nd shift at Abbot Laboratories in Laurinburg, while working at Winn-Dixie in Bennettsville on the week ends. After gratduating from NETC (CMTC) in Dec. 1997, I started searching for another job. I ended up working at American General Finance in Laurinburg. This wasn't a job that I really liked, so in October '98, I went to work full time at Winn-Dixie. On January 7, 1998, I gave my heart to Jesus, and I've never regretted making that choice in my life. In August '98, I met my soulmate. At the time, I didn't realize that he'd be the man I'd spend the rest of my life with. When I first saw him, I was totally interested, but I didn't think I was his type. Over the next 4 months, we'd grow to be very good friends. He was very respectful to me and was one of the most well mannered guys I'd ever met. After getting to know him, I was falling in love with him. But he had a girlfriend, so I didn't pursue. In January '99, he went off to college at USC Salkahatchie on a baseball scholarship. After going to school, he and his girlfriend broke up, so I got brave and told him how I really felt. We began a relationship that January, and we were married on July 7, 1999. In June 2000, we started our family, with our daughter, Hannah Faith.
