Michael's Story
Life
Graduated CHS W70. Enlisted USAF/ANG. Completed basic training and returned to AirGuard VanNuys and attended CSUN. Completed officer's training June 1972 and Air Force flight training September 1973. Completed land(POW) and water survival, and C-130 programs. Flew with California Air National Guard 115th TAS through 1992 including Desert Storm and numerous overseas AirForce Flights for some 19 years. Retired Major. Flew for Continental(727 and DC-10) from 1977 to strike occuring Sept 1983. Honored strike and retired CAL when strike ended. BA CSUN 1975 and JD Pepperdine 1978. Active California trial attorney since 78. Litigation partner Rosenthal,Withem and Zeff representing insurance companies and financial institutions. Married since 1978. finish nursing school this summer. Matt played winter ball in Airizona and is helping coach baseball at Agoura HS, working out pitching and will either continue playing baseball or enter college to be a firefighter, or both. We still reside in Agoura Hills and Las Vegas. Our baby is just shy of 6'5" and hitting 92-93 on the radar. Too bad he is a right hander. Debby is still on staff at Kaiser Sunset doing anesthesia. I still doubt that I ever will retire since I already retired from 2 earlier careers and life is too short. Still actively litigating cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts because after 30 years I finally know what I am doing. I do miss flying and those I flew with. "To Absent Friends" and there are too many. It is a wonderful privilege to have the opportunity to watch your kids grow up. Mike
