Cathie's Story
Life
Graduated '72 from Lynchburg College. Married Stan Boren, FHHS '68. Daughter, Catie, a professional songwriter, now married and the mother of a 4-year old girl, a 3-year-old boy, and a 21-month-old girl. Son, Todd, a Va. State police officer. Stan now retired from career as a Ffx. Cty. school principal. I'm retired from working w/ special ed kids, but not retired from acting. Favorite past roles include Miss Hannigan in "Annie", Yente, the Matchmaker in "Fiddler on the...Expand for more
Roof", Ruth in "Pirates of Penzance", Vera in "Mame", and Eulalie MacKeckney Shinn in "The Music Man." Still love music, and have attended 23 Reba McEntire concerts! We recently moved to Sevierville, TN (30 miles east of Knoxville), close to our daughter and her children. Here, we've built our dream home, a Victorian w/ a wrap-around porch! Views of the French Broad River and the Smokeys. Hoping our son will transfer here too. Hope to hear from former Concert Choir members!
