Deborah's Story
Life
Edited August 14, 2006 - I have been taking classes at Howard Community College to get an AA degree in Elementary Ed. and transfer to Towson University to receive a Bachelors hopefully in the near future. I am Queen Mum for my very active Red Hat Society Group, "Her Majesty's Pretty Perky Prisses of Glenwood, Maryland".
After leaving high school I graduated from P.G. Community College. On July 8, 1972 I married my long time boy friend and love, Stan Talbott. Both Stan and I worked for a water utility in Prince George's County and Stan is still employed there after 30 years of service. I have worked for 30+ years now in several career paths (Manufacturing Representative, Engineering, Construction bids, Furniture Co., Clorox, Law Office). For over 8 years I still enjoy working with a quadriplegic patient doing Respite Care. I also have dabbled in pre-school and kindergarten to 3rd grade substitute teaching which I dearly love. Our only son was born on July 19, 1989, Scott Bankston Talbott. He is a Boy Scout and I have enjoyed for 3 years planning and presenting the Programs for Howard County Cub Scout Day Camp every June as it's...Expand for more
Program Director. We live in Glenwood, MD which is in the western part of Howard County, (lots of farms and horses)near Columbia, MD. My parents moved away from Oxon Hill 1975 to the little town of Sebastian outside of Vero Beach, Florida. My Mom passed away in March of 1995. My Dad, Berger is still living in Sebastian playing in his own Town and County Dance Band that he manages. My favorite hobby other than Boy Scout Day Camp and Boy Scout camping is Jazzercise, Red Hat Society events, attending college classes. My 2 dogs and my 3 cats also keep me busy and loved while I attend to our 6 acres. I enjoyed being on the Reunion Committee at our 30th reunion and hope to help out at a 35th or 40th if and when it comes along. Love to all my dear friends,
ADDENDUM TO MY LIFE PROFILE: 9/17/03 The night before the big Isabel Hurricaine:
On August 3, 2003 our only son, Scott Bankston Talbott passed away due a tragic accident at our home. Scott was 14 years and 15 days old. We now have a very large hole in our broken hearts and miss him each and every minute of every day. Please pray for our family, Sincerely,
