Joanna's Story
I put my photo on Classmates made with my grandson, Michael. Hope you can see that one. I'll try to upload another one.
I am married (most of my life) to Robert C. Robbins, Jr. He is retired from BellSouth and from the U.S. Army (30 years). I have a degree in nursing and am a registered nurse. I am also now retired from nursing where I worked as a critical care nurse and was certified as a CCRN. I also worked as a hospital nursing supervisor and in the operating room as an RN first assistant to the surgeons and as a circulating RN.
I have two children. Karen was born in 1967 and Kris in 1973. Karen has two children (ages 16 (Sarah) and (Michael) 19) and Kris has one little girl (...Expand for more
Cadence) age 6. All of them live in the local area so we get to see them quite often. Karen and her husband have their own business and Kris is a middle school teacher.
W have lived in Lincolnton, NC for the past 30 years, having lived in Asheville, NC for many years prior to Rob being transferred by BellSouth in 1982.
Quite by coincidence, while I was in college, I worked temporarily as an office medical assistant for Jerry Arial in Asheville where he had a dermatology office. That was many, many years ago.
I hope everyone has a wonderful time at the reunion. Also I hope there will be another one soon. Please give my regards to all our classmates.
