Life
I married Phil Smead on Oct.27th 1967 after we were out of High School. Remember, Phil went to school with all of us. Phil and I raised 3 children 2 girls and 1 boy. We opened an Auto Body Shop in Battle Creek in 1980 named Phil Smeads Auto Body. We were married for 25 years. Phil had a heart attack and died in Feburary of 1993. He was only 43 years old. kept the Body Shop going and my son Steve is working with me in it. My son has two children, a son Caden and daughter Cailey. My daughter Chris is not married has her own business and lives in Richland. My daughter Cherri lives in Phoenix Az. and is a trainer at a Bank. She is married to John StJames and has 2 boys, Casey and Tyler, and adopted a little girl Bella.
