Ted's Story
Life
Short bio: Dad was USAF, so lived at AF Academy near Colorado Springs, Colorado, and went to Air Academy HS there, '62-'66. Family moved to D.C., and I went to college, at U. of Mo., Rolla, for 2 1/2 years. Was in Phi Kappa Theta fraternity there first year, then lived outside with friends. When I left school I moved back to Colorado Springs. I went into sales, traveled a bit (tried to be a hippie, but my hair wouldn't grow long enough), and then went into publishing in Los Angeles (copy editing, indexing...Expand for more
, production management). I finally went back to school (Colorado Technical College in Colorado Springs) where I got a degree, in 1990, in Computer Science. Have been working in computers since--in Colorado Springs, Denver, Florida, and now back to the Springs for the last 7 years. I'm at a good, challenging job with a major engineering company. Planning to retire when I win the lottery; but since I don't buy tickets, that could be a while! Oh: kinda married, with two children, girls 14 and 24 years. Say hi!
