Jeff's Story
After leaving the Masonic Home in 1972, I went on to complete high school in 3 years, graduating in 1975, where I then joined the USN. The Navy was o.k., but I didn't want to make it a career. I saw a lot of great places and met some really great people, a number of whom I still remain in contact with to this day.
I left the USN in 1979, later joining the FWPD for an almost 5 year stint, before going back and finishing my undergraduate degree...Expand for more
in Biology on the G.I Bill. I went from there to medical school, completing my post doctoral training in Western Arkansas. I spent almost 5 years working with the most remarkable people of the Choctaw Nation in rural Oklahoma. Though it could be difficult work some days , I wouldn't trade the experience for anything; they remain some of the finest people I've ever known. Such faith ! !
Today I'm a Family Practice physician in Western Arkansas.
