Deborah's Story
After graduating from Sul Ross in 1969 I became a computer programmer analyst for Sperry Univac at White Sands Missle Range and then in Los Angeles. Married in July 1970 to David Lerner, who had lived all over the world. After our first child Josh was born moved to Phoenix. Became very active in church and realized I had a call to ministry. 1996. Have been senior pastor at Trinity UMC Phoenix for 9 years. We adopted two more sons, Sam and Ben, now 24 and 27. The youngest is disabled and will be with us "always." The others live nearby.
It astonishes me that I am now a pastor! Who knew?
I had a GREAT time at the SRSU reunion last year and look forward to making contact with those folks again. I came to the MHS reunion a few years ago and was DISAPPOINTED so few from my class were there! Couldn't believe the changes in Marathon!
