assigned to a small radio intercept detachment in Bavaria on the border with what was then Czechoslovakia. After the Army attended and graduated from Indiana University, then returned returned to CT where I have been working ever since. Yep, still not retired as of summer of 2015.

A push-pull German WWII fighter, the Dornier 335 A Pfeil, one of the fastest piston driven planes ever built.
Another submarine item - an early submarine launched ballistic missile, the Polaris, that was on the first boomers (SSBNs).
I had to put in a couple of submarine items - here's something we used to have on a lot of boats, a Subroc. It carried a 5kt nuclear warhead.

There has always been a large number of deer at Bluff Point. Occasionally the state needs to invite hunters in and shuts the park down to thin the herd.
