Life May, 2011 - Life is good, Michael and I are still together, enjoying life as a couple. His work has taken him to New Mexico, but he is working hard trying to get transferred back to the DFW area, unfortunately, not much in the Mt. Pleasant area we call home. My Mother passed away last December, thankfully, she didn't linger long in discomfort. The cancer she had was a blood borne and the chemo/pain meds had ceased to offer much help. She slipped into a coma one morning and had passed away that same night. Her mind stayed active up until that day, and for those of you that were my close friends throughout school, she still remembered you and liked hearing how everyone was doing. I was bumped up to supervisor this year, still doing taxes, enjoying it even more so. I always liked working with numbers, so this job has been fun along with providing income. January, 2010 - Gosh, can you believe it? 2010. Still living in Mt. Pleasant, sort of single, have a housemate who I have a lot of feelings for, but doubt we will tie the knot, just not for either of us and we are happy living the way we are.
