Dorothy's Story
I grew up in Pensacola where I attended Elementary School through High School until my Senior year at Washington High. November of my Senior year I retured to Panama City where I graduated from Rosenwald High School.
Following a year at Rosenwald Jr College, I moved to Maryland...being married to an Airman I traveled
around the country to include Anchorage , Alaska.
I now live in Los Angeles, California, I am the proud mother of three and grandmother of four.
I am a member of the Southern California Floridian Club as well as the National Asociation of Floridian Clubs Inc., where I keep in contact with many Floridians and issues regarding the " Home Front".

I am presently serving the office of Most Worthy Supreme Grand Matron of the Ancient Arabic Order of Daughters of Sphinx, which is our National.
This Organization which is world wide has been a
positive force in my life along with my on-going Christian experience.
Those of you who do not recognize my name or me for that matter, I am a member of the Moffett - Godwin Family. I am the neice of Mr. Milford Moffett Sr. , those of you who graduated a few years ahead of me will remember that he taught at Rosenwald. Those of you who graduated after me will know another uncle, Mr. James " Red" Godwin who also taught at Rosenwald.
So much about my past, I am a semi retired Administrator / Educator who loves meeting and being in touch with people.
