Life After graduation from Chattahoochee. I went to School in Nashville,Tennessee at Nashville Auto-Diesel College. I graduated from there. Came home and went to work at Ring Power Corp. in Tallahassee. After there, I worked several jobs moving from here to there and yonder. I eventually worked for over four years at Gulf Power Company. My Grandfather got killed in Ky in the Summer of '76. I quit Gulf Power and moved up there and helped my Grandmother for over a year. Came back to Florida and went back to school at Chipola Vocational and got a Diploma for working on Major appliances & A\C's. Started my own business that I worked on the side for almost 20 years. I started to work for Dept of Corrections in 1980. That was when I got married to Angela Hiers from Sneads. In 1983, we had a son,Philip. Then I transferred to Dept of Labor in 1981. Have been there ever since. Now that I am losing my job because of cut backs of this Governor that we have. I have gone back and gotten recertified to be a correctional officer.
