Dawn's Story

In 1973 we went from Seaside, California to Stutgart Germany. I was in 8th grade. After that, High school started in B.K. Germany. My frosh and Sophmore years were great. Everyone in a small military community knows one another and I loved every minute of those days. We then went on to Aurora, Colorado where I completed Junior and Senior years. Hinkley High.....yeah. Well, I did get through somehow. Not good memories there..One more year was trudged through at Monterey Peninsula College in California. I unfortunatly had a terrible marriage of 5 yrs that did bless me with two beautiful daughters and a lot of life insight. So I returned to California with my daughters. After that a Tech school in San Mateo California years later. I have now been married (my second and last) to a great guy, who has stuck by me lovingly through thick and thin. an extremely handsome son Lucas, and Stephanie has a son my buddy, Blake and beautiful girl, Haylee May. Yep, now I am a grandma, and proud of it, and them! My husband Randell and I live in Los Banos, California and love spending time with the grandbabies! We will be relocating soon to Prescott, Arizona and are excited to start a new life there, but sad to be far from the grandbabies..I will have to put some air miles to use soon! I hope you are all doing well with your lives and families. I cant wait to meet up again soon with any or all of you, maybe at a future BK Reunion. Wonderful memories still live in my mind of our BK family, the DYA friday and saturday night dances and our trips, Garmish, Dacchau, Oberamergau, PARIS! and many more, we had some fun, and some trouble, but never did I have a more wonderful time and look forward to reliving them with you all.
