Life
I had written something longer, but the damned interface deleted it. I have recently discovered that I have Aspergers. I am now ending my second marriage. I have hope for the future, however.
College
Earlham--I haven't set foot there since 1988. I just wish I could let people know that there really was a reason I acted as I did back then (see Aspergers). I really didn't understand what was going on, and nobody seemed able or willing to explain it to me. Instead, I made me and everyone around me miserable. ...Expand for more
I should have just gone into an assembly line instead of college, for all the good I've done anyone with it.
Workplace
I work at a medical school, doing research on Alzheimers and Autism. I have 20 years of experience at cutting-edge scientific research and get paid no more than a janitor--I get paid LESS than some janitors. College was a waste of time. And now I'm stuck, dead-end job, no possibility of advancement, no way to even save for retirement past a lousy pension and social security.
