Kimberly's Story
Life
(I would love it if people I knew from SBHS would contact me, especially everyone in my high school class. I kinda miss everyone and think about them often.)
After SBHS, I trudged off to Liberty University, and attended from 1995-1998. I was a psychology major at the time. However, the sexual abuses in my past and other issues forced me to put college on hold. Also, I couldn't stand the university. I did not mesh with its views. Nor did I believe that praying and reading my Bible was all-sufficient for my needs. In addition to that, I was nauseated by the forced morality of adults through overly strict and anal rules, the belief that the business world only accepts women in knee-length skirts with stockings, hose and dress shoes, and men in nice dress pants with in collared button-up shirt, and the constant "spells" of D. L., the constant going down to the alter as if the answers would be there as opposed to being accessible anywhere you are, and the unfounded rants of Dr. Falwell & Co. I considered J. F., D. C. and D. L. to be the Liberty University Holy Trinity. People sucked hiney and kissed butt and bowed down enough. It's a farking school of mindless clones.
While there I discovered the Multiplicity of myself (if you don't know or can't figure it out, drop me a line and I MIGHT explain it to you).
On May 29, 1999, I married my best friend from college and moved to the Bay Area of California.
2000 - 2002 - I was employed at Teradyne and was able to attend the University of Phoenix and major in Business Administration. That fell through two years later during the heavy Silicon Valley layoffs and again college was thrown to the wind.
I used to roller blade, ice skate and visit places such as Tahoe and national parks like Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Hubby and I would drive for four hours straight in one direction if we happened to be bored, so it was only natural that we ended up in all sorts of interesting places
2002 - Present - I finally admitted to myself (and just this year my...Expand for more
parents, other family members already knew) that I was not straight and I moved to Missouri with my then fiancée. We were handfasted (pagan ceremony) July 12, 2003. (And a really loud "WELL, DUH!" to all of you freaks who should have known.)
On May 20, 2003, hubby and I decided we would divorce. You see we are all polyamorous. I am not interested in hubby, or other men. However, hubby's moving here by Dec. 23rd to live with the wife and me.
My wife and I are both now Pagan. We practiced Wicca specifically in the past and she considered herself eclectic. I might label myself as such, but I lean towards Egyptian and Norse practices. (I have always been interested in this path and I never really believed Christian teachings. I gained only depression and guilt from those.) My wife is also a priestess.
Wifelette and I were at one time co-owners of a graphic design business, and co-owners with her mother of a for-profit and a non-profit Internet business for advocacy, anti-discrimination and activism.
These days I am usually working in my regular job with the Developmentally Disabled.
Otherwise, I spend my time with my face in the computer and school texts, updating online journals and sites, and also absorbing anime and manga.
Thats all. You can go now. Shoo!
