Kathy's Story
Hopefully they remember me as friendly and nice to everyone. I can't remember not liking anyone at Valley.
After High school I worked and got married and worked some more. I made a deal with my husband that I would support us till he finished college then I could go....also that HE would do the best he could do which I knew was A's.
I worked at the Clinic for Evaluation of children in Rolla while Bill went to school. He graduated with a 4.0 and my working days were over. Boy was I ready! We went into the service and travele...Expand for more
d quite a lot for 2 years while Bill was sent to several schools for the Signal Corps.
When we were finally stationed at Ft. Huachucca (Wa Choo Ka) we only had 2 years to go so we stayed there the whole time. I enjoyed it but Bill didn't like the weather. As we were supposed to "re-up" we had our first little girl and got orders for Japan. Before the orders were cut my father suddenly passed away, leaving Bill as executer of my 2 teenage siblings and mother. The Army graciously released us an then we moved back to Belleview.
