Dana's Story
College
I had to wait till later in life to have my college experience so unfortunately (I think) I missed out on the "going away" experience. I did start taking night classes one at a time through Elgin Community College and a year into settling into their Physical Therapy Assistant program I changed my ming. I did finish credits to earn my Associate of Arts Degree and did it with near perfect grades. Yeah for me. In 2004 I enrolled in a distance learning program through Columbia College of Missouri where I am working on earning my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. I am taking internet classes but not consistently.

high school I began working inside sales for a company that sold giant drills and such. When I say giant I really mean it - drills that make holes in the earth and such. From there I went to work for a small truck repair facility and that is how my future had somewhat been laid out. I've grown to love the trucking industry and went to an Allied Moving company from the repair shop. In the moving industray I held positions in customer service, claims, and special products planning. I am now the fleet manager for the Illinois Graebel branch. Graebel is the largest privately held moving company in the United States. I manage 20+ drivers and love it.
