Susan's Story

Life Where do I begin! In High School, I just hung out too much, & partied-alot, I dropped out twice! My life turned around , the day I met my husband, I married in 1987- had my 1st. child, Robbie- in 1988. Since then, we added 4 more children, Christopher, Summer, & the twins-Michael & Nicholas four boys & one girl in the middle- (can you believe it!) & I've been happily married for 21 years! In 1996, I felt it was time I made my life complete, so I went & got my High School Diploma! Which ...I almost missed my last chance to graduate,- my due date for my daughter was that week. So, we just took her a week early-could't miss it twice! I have been living in Texas for 19 years, & loving it! I have my own business for 17 years, & growing. My life mainly revolves around my children, they are my world! One of them, may be in the Olympics in 2012!!(for gymnastics)I can't wait! My oldest, Robbie, is doing great, he has a great job, making good money...just sold his camaro : ( . His plans changed, he wants to be a fireman, and is persuing that in Jan., right around his 21st birthday! He will start out locally, then transfer to Denton, Texas, up by Dallas, and wants to transfer again to the New York Fire Department!! My son Chris, the gymnast, is doing good, a Senior this year! He has gone on a few recruiting trips for College over the last few months, to Oklahoma University, & to Minnesota, & Ohio State... and is very excited! Update!! Chris got a Full Ride with Oklahoma University, signed Letter of Intent on 11/12/08! Still wants to go for the Olympics, for 2012. He'll be graduating in 2009 from H.S. My sweet princess, Summer, is in the 7th grade already, and doing well. She is very artisic, & musically inclined. She also helps so much at home...my 'lil mommy's helper!! She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in April, and needs shots everyday for the rest of her life. : ( She's doing great though, and accepting that this is for keeps. She has become quite an actress, had a main part in the school play...Peter Pan and did a Fantastic job!! Then we have house wreckers 1 & 2...Michael & Nicholas, (not really bad, lol) They are in 1st grade, and they are so smart. They both read very well, can write, spell, great imaginations! So far, they haven't tricked the teachers!! Me & the hubby...Rob have been so busy with the business, gymnastics season, just taking care of the crew. We just had our 21st annivers...Expand for more
ary...August 15th. Time is just passing us by too quickly these days! Other happenings...I sadly lost my Mom on christmas morning, 2007, and my Dad now lives with me....so it's like I have 6 kids!!! LOL Just kidding! Life is full of surprises...and everyday, I make sure I'm living it to the fullest!!! This christmas will be tough without Mom...that's why I decided to go to NY for the holidays this year, and hopefully will get to visit with some friends, and be with my family. School Who was my biggest crush...I would have to say it was, John Toma, especially in the ninth grade, I followed him to his classes and got in trouble for being late to mine! No...I WASN"T stalking him LOL... just had a very BIG crush. The teacher who inspired me the most...well, first off, in OLMC...there was Mrs. Musto, she was so sweet . Then in FHS it was definitly Mr. DeVersa (science)- he really cared about his students, even after I was offically signed out of school, he made me sit through that last lesson,...and I actually didn't mind being there! He was a great teacher!! If I could do it all over again,....I would definitely have stayed in school, studied a lot harder, and got more involved, gone to my Prom, and most important....GRADUATED! Some of the funniest moments...getting caught smoking in the stair-wells by the security guards, Donna, that little dude that thought he was god's gift to all woman. Or, getting caught coming BACK in the building after cutting out! The craziest....was when me and Janice Bisignani went upstairs to the tower, and on the roof, where it looked like a castle. I remember hiding in the storage room in the auditorium, upstairs where they kept sets for plays, - with about 7 people who all cut out, but it was raining outside so we stayed in there,.....then we heard noises, and it was security- we were so busted! The happiest....was when I met Janice Bisignani...she helped me get through this "new" school without fear. Then I met Jeanine Starck, my other cut out partner! Also my very best friend, who I still keep in touch with today. Me & Sharyn D. were partners in crime....getting in trouble often, having fun, being daring...too much to list! Then there was Pat the Punk... she brought me to a different level...the partying we did, I guess we all got a little crazy back then!! BTW...if anyone wants to reach me, I also have a myspace and a facebook account...and it's under my married name.
