Sharon's Story

Life I've been happily married for nearly 30 years (am I old or what???). My oldest son, Rob, and his wife Kristin, have moved to the Denver area where Rob works as a landscape designer. They built a beautiful home with lots of room for company, but it's a long, boring drive through Wyoming to get there! Now, if they were to have a baby, we might be more inclined to make the trip! My second son, Ryan, has been married since May 2004. He and Becca have two sweet little girls---Addison, 2 and Callie, 8 mos. Being a Grandma is sooooo much fun!!! Fortunately, they live just 15 minutes from us, so we get to see them often! My third son, Aaron, will be graduating from BYU-Idaho in December, and is busy applying to graduate schools. His degree will be in music with an emphasis on composition and conducting. You can check...Expand for more
out his web-site---aaronpike.com---to hear some of his music. My baby (and only girl!), Aubrey, will be a sophomore at BYU-Idaho this Fall. She is studying interior design. Things are a little quiet around the house with everyone off making lives of their own, so to liven things up, we have been ripping the house apart and attempting some remodeling projects (with the help of our resident designer!) Unfortunately, time has run out and she will be heading back to school next week, so we will have to muddle through ourselves!!! We've lived near Boise, Idaho since 1987, and, although it was a big adjustment at first, we have come to love it here. It's amazing how many ex-Californians live here! I've even run into a couple people from good ol' RMHS! Life is good, and I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me!!!
