Laura's Story
Life
I went to Christian Schools, and was Home-Schooled, for Jr. High and High School. My family had moved from Omaha to Fort Smith, Arkansas, in 1983. From there, we moved to Muldrow, Oklahoma, the same year; then, a year later, we moved to Amarillo, Texas. I had married in 1989, and divorced, in 1991 (because my husband cheated on me). I had 1 daughter, Tina, on March 21, 1990, with my 1st husband; and 1 daughter, Jessica, on October 23, 1991, with another man (I had a relationship, while going through my divorce). My mother, daughters, and I had moved back to Omaha, in 1992; and then, relocated to Canyon, Texas, in 1996, due to the weather, and arthritis problems. After we moved...Expand for more
back, I met and married my 2nd husband. I have divorced him, because he abused Jessica. I have had several short-term jobs; but, the longest one I had was my recent job with Wal-Mart. I am currently unemployed, due to back problems; and have applied for Social Security Disability. - The back problems have become worse, due to the combination of the Osteoarthritis, Rheumatiod Arthritis, and the Chemotherapy (that I had to go through this past year). I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. I had Surgery, followed by the Chemo, last year. I wish I could remember all of my friends from Spring Lake. It's been soooo long.
