Life
Greetings
After graduating high school I worked in several factories in Cleveland. Then I enlisted in the Air Force, for four years. I became a jet engine mechanic, on the B52 Bomber, that huge aircraft with 8 engines. Went TDY to Okinawa and Thailand. Our motto was "work hard and play hard!" I smoked, drank, danced at discos every weekend. Near the end of my term, I had a powerful conversion experience. My brother's death led to that, among other things. Went on to college got M.A. in theology, Master of Divinity, at University. Served as a Seventh-day Adventist minister for 8 years in Illinois, 5 years in Northern Ireland, now 18 years in the S. d two churches, still do. Had one church in Camden Harbor Maine, for three years. We loved that winter experience. Have now retired in Hendersonville NC, with my wife Carolynne. Everyone and kids call me "Pastor Bob." I sing, preach I am producing my first book of P0etry., I try to inspire everyone to greater things. My birthday is June 4th. I feel good. I am a vegan/vegetarian. More importantly I like learning about You! Thanks, "Keep looking up by faith!"
Military
I was in SAC 96th Field Maintenance Squadron. We worked on B52 Jet Engines, J57s. The Base was called "Dyuss AFB" at the time. or Dyess. We got shipped to Thailand for TDY. Are there any buddies out their? Bob
