Tonja's Story
Life
Life has ended up treating me pretty good. I progressed from my secretary position into the Air Traffic Controller program with the FAA. After seeing Grand Forks, ND and Twin Falls, ID, I settled in Boise, ID. I was married to a fellow controller for 5 years. He had 3 children, so we had no more. I retired from the FAA in 1998. I have become reacquanted with my "ex-step" children and learned I'm the "ex-step" "gamma" of four beautiful boys. Still I ask why no granddaughters, but they are not cooperating. Workplace
I left Dugway for a Secretarial position with the FAA at the Salt Lake City Airport. Within a year I was in the training program to be an Air Traffic Controller. I went from Salt Lake City, UT to Grand Forks, ND, to Twin Falls, ID and finally to Boise, ID. I went to the FAA Training Academy in Oklahoma City 4 different times for various training through my career. Only once in the summer, thank goodness. I retired from the FAA in 1998.
