My Spouse
Having arrived by boat and needing a ride "home," My friend, the late Bob Matusek, called his "current squeeze", who brought a friend, Patti, that Judy had graduated from Michigan State with...so, Patti, actually, picked me up in the main dining room of the Detroit Yacht Club; been history since 1963. Edgar H. "Snuffy" Smith and his bride were having dinner a couple of tables away. I sent them a drink...Snuffy kept responding with "Triples!" We're still able to consume Manhattans!
My Pets
"Pounce de la Ounce" AKA "Pouncer" is the first feline member of MENSA. Actually; we live with him! Pouncer passed...Expand for more
in 2004. We currently live with Thor & Loki.
We spend three months, in the summer, at "Northknife," our Traverse City Lake Home...where I sail, play golf, garden, do never ending projects (which I always "Over Engineer." The curse of having been a P.Eng. for almost fifty years.), "play" with my two "Classic Cars" and READ. I'm totally out-of-control with my "collection/hoard" of hard cover books. I've never counted them, but I'm sure that I have well over 3,000. I try to read a couple of books, each and every week. I continue to subscribe to the theory: "If you don't learn something new each day...it's a wasted day!"
