Sharon's Story
Graduated from FSU '65, married G.V.D. in '66, we had a son, Michael and a daughter, Jennifer. They both are now married with beautiful families.
Moved from Miami to Altamonte Springs in '76. Divorced in '92. Stayed busy busy AND retired after 30 wonderful years as a Speech Pathologist, working with children with hearing impairments and children with autism.
Have stayed very busy since retirement, with the Florida PTA as the ESE and Early Childhood chair. Been exciting and many times discouraging, advocating for all of Florida's children and their education. I have learned Federal and State Politicians NEVER put our children first and we should replace any one of them who do not 'take care of our kids'....and seniors!

Last year started my own consulting business. I visit Orlando's day/home care Centers and identify children (0-5 yrs old) at risk, educationally.
Since joining Class Mates & Face Boo,k the ability to connect with old friends has been a joy. Are we lucky with all this technology or what? What will our grandchildren experience? WOW!
I am so encouraged!. ...Since joining CM &FB, I am reminded each time I sign on that 9,500 single men, in Orlando want to meet me. Anyone else have a similar message show up on the right panel? NO you don't!
Can't wait to see ALL our 1961 'peeps' and talk all weekend. Make sure to make plans to come to Orlando, October 2011.
