Heidi's Story
Life
I am a proud mother of two beautiful kids. My son is 13 and daughter is 11. I am on my 2nd marriage and have been married to my 2nd husband for 7 years. From this marriage I also have 2 step kids. Step son is 18 and step daughter is 17. We are back and living in the Milwaukie area again. We moved back from Central Oregon about 2 years ago. We lived in Central Oregon for almost 5 years, out on Crooked River Ranch. I have realized that I am more of a country gal instead of a city gal.
School
I really never had any crushes in HS well at Putnam anyways that I can remember. I always dated boys from different HS. Oregon City, West Linn, Centennial, and others... In HS I goofed off too much to think about a teacher who inspired me. I always thought Miss Oliphant however was the coolest.. To do HS all over again nope.. I can honestly say I would not want to do it over again.
For the funniest times.. I would have to say it was back in the day when Jeanine Jurado, Shelley Morrison and I would go out cruzing 82nd.. Damn those were the days.. We did some crazy things out there on 82nd.. If my kids were to do something like that today man I would have to kick their butt..
I know the people that meant the most to me in HS are friends with me today.. We might have lost touch over the years and well ...Expand for more
I can honestly say I have touched base with MOST of them.
Jeanine Jurado, Shelley Morrison, Charlotte Finley, Cherly Waldo, Shawn Kennon, Donna Polacheck, Bob Richardson, Michael Bell, and more! We do all get together every few months and have dinner out we talk about old times and it is so much fun. I seem to get "NEWBIES" invited to each new dinner so we can see more old friends that we have lost touch with over the years. There is one person to whom I miss alot and have not been able to find. We called her Bea in HS her real name however was Mary Withers. If anyone knows where she is let her know we are searching for her. After her husband died I lost touch and that is what makes it hard..
Workplace
I still own my party business if any of you are wondering. I do have a website contact me if you would like to know more about Romantic Promises. I am also helping out a previous employer and managing a Yellow Page Company. I am incharge of several counties: Clackamas, Tillamook, Clatsop, Columbia, Yamhill, Marion & Benton. I do travel a few days a week so I can keep ontop of the sales reps out there.
Military
The closest I ever came was when my ex husband and I were stating in Biloxi MS at Keesler AFB. This was a great learning experience. I was pregnant with my first child while living here.
