Julia's Story
Life
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1989. After graduating from Dondero, I went to MSU for a year, then on to Wayne State for a year. My mom married her accounting professor who became the dean of the business school at Lawrence Tech University, so I ended up there completing my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Married my husband in 1980 who I had been dating off and on since I was 17. We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary summer of 2008. WOW, makes me feel old. o pursue a nursing career. I went to Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse. I have been at Beaumont Hospital since 1988 first working in surgical ICU then on to Interventional Cardiology/Critical Care. I am celebrating 20 years of service at Beaumont Royal Oak. I love my job as a nurse, it is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I get a lot of personal satisfaction from taking care of the patients and I have lots of great friends at work. High School was such an awkward time for me as it probably was for many of us. I have great friends and family in my life. Health and happiness to all. Julia
