lf singing the parts. Being a mezzo-soprano comes in handy for that, having a mid-ranged voice. I record by using a dual cassette karaoke machine audio patched into my Pioneer stereo, just domestic equipment so therefore not studio quality sound. One day I would love to have some of my music arrangements published for other groups to do, if only I knew the avenues. I'll have to keep working on that. I also, in free time, enjoy writing about Christian life commentary and sometimes political commentary. Then someday when I retire and have the TIME to do this I am planning on being a writer. Don't know if I'll ever get any of my writings published. Getting published would be nice, but yet my main purpose is putting forth the thoughts that are in my head, on paper. So I definitely look forward to retirement 'cause I have plans. Of course another daydream I have for retirement is for Darrell and I to get a couple of motorcycles and start wearing a lot of black leather. LOL! That would be fun; don't know if it will happen but it would be fun! Another very important part of my bio is that I became a Christian at a very young age. I searched for the Lord very early in childhood because I knew something big was definitely going on in this world and I wanted so bad for my young mind to be able to grasp it. When I finally did learn about the Lord/Christ, I was so amazed and so elated that I began walking with Him through life and still walk with Him today. It could not imagine doing otherwise. JoAnne :)

Mother and me in 1956.
The Boswells on Mother and Daddy's 40th Anniversary in 1988. Me (with big hair!) Mother, Ginny, Daddy and Jan.
Mother and me, Christmas 2012.
It's kind of blurry because it was still raining at the time but the tree completely blocked the road off. And when it fell on the power lines, it snapped that power pole and it splintered into about 5 pieces.
The firetruck that was patrolling until the tree services and power trucks could get there, had their lights flashing so that you can't see where the phone and TV lines had fallen don in between our cars.
The tree services and public works worked on that big tree through the night and got it cleared. This was the next morning before the power trucks came back to replace the pole and get our power restored.
It's hard to see the all but there were 8 trunks!
What's left of the mutli-trunk pine tree. At least we won't have to worry about it falling now that it's already fallen.
It's hard to see with the direct sunlight but this is the back side of the tree that fell. It splintered plum silly!
First Baptist Church adult choir, handbell choir and children's choir will present our Christmas concert, we call Lessons and Carols, on Sun. Dec. 15th at 4:00pm in our sanctuary. The public is invited! Please come and prep

Shadow, looking through, the star. He loved everything we put in his cage. He was such a sweet bird.

Happy Birthday in Heaven to our dear Daddy! Today would have been his 98th birthday! Miss you Daddy!
The back end of the big pine tree that fell (sorry about the direct sunlight).
Just before the heavy duty power trucks got there to replace the pole.
Thinking of Daddy today; we lost him on Oct.1st, 27 years ago today. Cherishing all the happy memories of him, a very good father. Love you Daddy.

P.S. I just now realized that he was the same age in this picture that I am
My Aunt Virginia fell in her home in Sharpsburg, GA. yesterday evening. She is 95! She had been out shopping with a friend, had a great time, she'd gotten home and was going up the stairs with bags in her hands, apparently
October 1st! It was this day, 28 years ago, when our Daddy departed from earth for Heaven. The day was a Tuesday, like today; and the weather was just as unseasonably warm as it was today, this day in 1991. Really brings it
