Janice's Story
Life
I'm married to Gary since June 30, 1979. He's from Indiana originally & moved to Ohio because of his job in 1976. I have 2 sons. Gary Jr. who will be 21 years old in March and my other son Tony will be 18 on Groundhog's Day.
I'm currently unemployed and just looking for clerical work (part-time). I can type 70 WPM but need to get updated on computers.
We have 2 cats Inferno (a male tabby who's our social cat) and Nova who is our female black and white cat who's shy but purrs real nice.
I do have a part-time volunteer job. I'm a Leader of TOPS Club in Solon, Ohio and really love it. Wish I could get paid for it. I accomplisehd alot with my health. I'm not on any cholesterol medicine or high blood pressure medicine. My blood pressure is excellent & I lost weight from 214 1/4 pounds down to 156 pounds & kept that weight off for almost 4 years now.
My hobbies are walking, going to the Twinsburg Fitness Center and listening to country music. I also like bowling but don't bowl on any leagues anymore.

. I've been part-time since Feb. of 1998. I had a 3 week temporary job at a department store from Oct. 6 to Oct. 26,2002. It was a credit greeter but it was just temporary.
Then from July thru Sept. I worked as an office clerk part-time. The company got rid of me because I wasn't updated with computers. They wanted somebody that knew Excel. They didn't have time to train me. Now the company before I was there for 17 months & I enjoyed it. It was data entry and filing and analysis of strength curve data for knees, backs and shoulders. I was laid off a month before 9-11. The company did strength testing for major airlines. It was just 20 hours a week & it was close to home which I liked. I do have a volunteer part-time job which I love. Wish I could get paid for it. I'm a leader of a weight group called TOPS Club which stands for Take Off Pounds Sensibly. It's in Solon, Ohio & meets once a week. I encourage members to lose weight & plan the meetings. I type many things for TOPS and you can say TOPS is a big part of my life.
