Margaret's Story
Life
Hello all,
In looking at my board I realized I have not updated for a long time, so here goes. Brian and I are still together and raising our children. I have 2 beautiful daughters and a handsome son. They are loving, wonderful kids. Although we have entered the dreaded teen/preteen years, we have been sailing through it pretty smooth with only a few small ripples in our sea. I thank God everyday that my children are healthy and continuing to grow in mind, body and spirit. We are starting homeschooling this fall and really looking forward to that. We attend church at First Christian Church of Hessville where the kids have made numerous friends and are continuing to grow in their relationship with God.
As for me, I continue to take care of my mother-in-law. She suffered a brain aneury...Expand for more
sm in 2002 and still has no short term memory, she is on disability and cannot live on her own. She lives with us.
My mom has now entered the late stages of alzheimers and continues to live at home with my dad as her main caretaker. I visit there about 5 times a week to help in her caretaking. It breaks my heart to see how much she has deteriorated in her functions over the last couple of years, but praise god that she is just as sweet as ever and always gives me a wonderful smile when she sees me. She is one loving lady. She can no longer shower, dress or feed herself but she is happy, and I thank God for that blessing.
I hope your lives have been richly blessed since we last saw each other.
Life is a challenge, but with God on our side, we are more than up to the task.
Blessings,
Margaret
