Brenda's Story
I don't want people to remember me in any certain way. It was a tough life back then and I've become my own person. It's taken 30 years -- ok -- maybe 20, but I'm happy with who I am.
I was going to be the professional that wasn't going to have kids... HA! I think I found the most expensive hobby in the world.
At 28 I changed my mind (with hubby's permission of course). I had the sweetest little blue-eyed blonde -- Charlene (1989). His regrets equalled our divorce.
Along came the absolute love of my life who couldn't have kids and found a ready-made family. cough cough -- meet Tabitha (1994) and Omega (1995). Three princesses! For some reason the milleneum (Happy New Year!) brought an 18 year old princess who bore my daughters two brothers a couple years later -- interesting phenomenon!

anything you put your mind to.
Rule 2: No regrets, your past makes you who you are today.
Rule 3: When the going gets tough, pull up your boot straps and suck it up, you'll amaze yourself!
What can I say? I'm living my dream (just without the romance). I have a blue and white house with large yard that has been a world of wonder for my girls over the years. I've held my breath as they've jumped on the trampoline. I've ducked into my greenhouse to escape the more trying times. Now, it's all about boys - yikes!!
I'm not a grandma yet -- and not in any big hurry. Charlene leaves for her 3 year of college at OIT in September. Omega starts high school this next fall. And Tabitha, well -- she'll end up where ever her little wings take her.
One last thing.... I love the 40's. I hope you all have found the inner peace I have.......
