So, you would like to know what I have been up to for the past 30+ years... Ok here goes ! I left school before graduating, but quickly knew I had made a big mistake and went back and got my Ged, in which I am so proud that I did. If I would have stayed in school, I would have graduated with the 1972 class at Parkland.. After getting married and having my 2 children, I went back to school for 4 yrs and received my BS degree in the nursing field. I became an RN and worked for Forsyth Medical Center for several yrs. When my marriage ended due to abuse and his alcohol addiction, I moved to Florida to start a new life. It was wonderful living near the beach, but it only took me 2 yrs to realize that NC was my true home. So, I moved back to Winston and met the man of my dreams.. We now have been married for over 21 yrs..Between us, we have 5 grown children, 12 grandchildren and now we have 1 great grandchild. Another part of my life, was my interest in music.
