Life Hey everyone! let's see if I can narrow my last 10 years down for ya. I have been in & on the radio since I was 21. I dated someone in radio, and realized it was for me immediately. With a lot of luck and very much persistance, I started at 97.1 The Eagle (where Kidd Kraddick got fired from when we were in middle school for playing "Ice-Ice-Baby"..(by Vanilla Ice).. 12 consecutive times in a row...remember that??..yes that was him ( a semi-pop-station at the time kinda like Y95! When it was known as the legendary rock station of Dallas I came aboard! I was priviledged as the only intern hired out of 10 other interns. This is when I knew I had finally chosen the right path for myself, and would learn the meaning of TOUGH COMPETITION, AND THAT THERE ARE NO RULES IN THE GAME". When the station was cancelled due to uncircumstances that could not be controlled, I was still employed for the station, but was offered to keep a job in the industry and move on from there. I then went next door to MIX 102.9 to produce a morning show which is almost impossible for someone who is 22 years old in a top market of #5 in the USA, 8 months later, i was added another station..102.1 THE EDGE. I did work here and there for them in the studio mainly. I also became the production assistant for commercials, and also was made the voice for FOX 4 TV commercials produced for radio. Later on, I was given another incredible offer to move up, yet again, and to help with the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show at 106.1 KISSFM...(The DJ I grew up listening too!) what a dream, and amazing opportunity!! I absolutlely took it without a doubt in my mind. I also assisted with Promotions, Clubs & a bit of Imaging (for promos on the air, interviewing the public for everyone you hear telling what they like about the station, and putting people live on the air. I worked on air with some traffic reading, & doing stunts, with an afternoon slot jock between 6-10pm at the time. I loved interviewing,...Expand for more
