Jan's Story
I am a widow with four wonderful children. My oldest daughter is now 27 years old and is in the process of finishing her teaching credential after graduating from Cal State Fullerton. My second daughter graduated with her bachelors degree in May 2008, got married in August 2008 and announced this week that I'm going to be grandma at the end of May 2009. My oldest son will finish is bachelor's degree this coming May in Communications. My youngest son is a police officer. My son-in-law is also a police officer. I also work for a law enforcement agency and have for the past 31 years. I am currently assigned to the detective bureau as a real live CSI. It's a great job, but not like the TV shows make it out to be! My husband of 31 years passed away suddenly two years ago. It was a tremendous loss for our family, but as you can see, we are slowly rebuilding. Time has helped.
I remember so many of my former classmates and was looking forward to maybe having a 30 year reunion but guess it just didn't happen. I would love to hear from any of you.
