Boy This is a long time coming. After school I got a job at the J.I. Case factory in Terre Haute that I progressed in till the Draft got close. I took a leave from them an enlisted in the Navy, for a four year hitch.That time kinda flew by in one way a drug on in another. I was on three ships that ranged from the far south Pacific to Alaska, with several stops in Vietnam,doing secret stuff. I was dicarged in April of 1973 and three weeks home I was struk by a car riding my motorcycle. My left leg was badly chrushed and I doctored with it for 2 1/2 years and then I told the doctors to take it off as I had wasted enough time withh it. All during this time I had joined the Pimento Volunteer Fire Department.
