Joan's Story
Life
Hi: We just had our 30th High School Reunion in August 2000. It's hard to believe that it has been 30 years since graduation. Unfortunately I was only able to make the picnic on Sunday, and not too many people came to the gathering. However, it was really great seeing old friends and some I never took the time out to know. I felt like I had to ask who each person was, since so many to me were unrecognizable. But that was ok since, everyone did the same. It was sad however, to hear of so many deaths amoungst our graduation class, 26 to be exact. ...Expand for more
Some of the people who had died were more recent to me such as Janet Villars, Elaine Robertson, and Kathie Meadows. Most surprizing was Betty Murden, who is now a teacher at Los Altos High School and was voted teacher of the year. I was thrilled to hear that. Some of us were still married to the same person, but many had divorces and even some had spouses that died of disease or accident. Hope you can add to the limited information I have on our class. Anyone hear from Vicky Urbach? She was a good friend in college after we graduated. Joan Murphy Keels
