Beware of the billing practices of Classmates. They will automatically bill your credit card at the prevailing rate for membership without you knowing, because when you signed up for the site, the membership is "automatic". Go to your account and turn it off and place it under "manual". Also, go to the credit card area and remove your credit card information permanently. They have a no refund policy so you will not get your money back from them, go to your credit card company and tell them this charge was not authorized. Life
After graduating from High School I went to Ohio State where I earned my BSN. I received my Masters degree from the Medical College of Ohio and taught nursing for 25 years. Two years ago I retired from teaching and am now a Clinical Researcher with the hosptial. I have been married to the same man for 30 years (we met in college) and have 3 children and 2 granchildren.
College
Went to Ohio State University from high school in Florida. I was amazed to find 3.2 beer and the fact that at 18 years old one could drink it! (Everything was 21 in Florida). I was at OSU during the riots and the closing of the University for 3 weeks in May aft...Expand for more
er the Kent State killings in 1970. I remember lots of scared young men graduating and maybe going to Vietnam. I pledged Phi Mu Soroity. My favorite places to hang out were the NorthBerg and the Char Bar I met my husband at OSU and we have been married since 1973. Got my first job at Childrens Hospital in Columbus and then we moved 2 years later to NW Ohio where we have been ever since. Went back to college and receive my Masters degree at the Medical College of Ohio.
Workplace
I started working in the School fo Nursing in 1975, teaching on Second Level. Miss Booth was my mentor and good friend. I stayed with the School until 1998 when it was announced the school would be closing. I transferred over to Mercy College and found that it was not the same caring atmosphere I was used to at St. Vincent. I then transferred back to the hospital setting as an Outcomes Manager (Case Manager) for 3B Renal. I did that job for 2 years and then transferred to my current position as a Clinical Researcher for the hospital in the Quality and Performance Improvment Department (sort of the internal affairs of the hospital). I really enjoy my job and seeing former students that still continue to work in the hospital. Would enjoy hearing from any other faculty or students.
