Lauren's Story
Well, my story begins with a short, unhappy marriage, which produced one beautiful child, Kristen, my little pumpkin, well she is now a 26 year old pumpkin living in Philly. She is one of my greatest creations.
After running away from my first husband, what did I do? Well got married again, of course. That marriage took me to Pittsburgh, where i lived for 12 years and had a son, now 16. Matthew is turning into a fine young man.
We took a job offer in Va. afterwards. That was a good year. It was great living in York. We were close to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Va. beach. We got seasons passes to Busch Gardens and me and the kids did a serious overkill that one summer.
But then opportunity knocked again, and we decided by a coin flip to take it, and moved up here, to lovely Maiden Creek, Pa. My mom and step dad live up here, so that was a deciding factor. It's nice for the kids to know the grandparents. We are sort of near Reading in an area where there are a lot of transplants from other areas. Its nice an...Expand for more
d diversified.
Fast Forward 4 years and another divorce and into another marriage to such a cool guy that I can't stand it. We have a really nice harley, really good, fun friends, a nice house, etc. It is so easy being married to Bill, and he is so good to me. We have had some nice trips together. My son Matthew lives with us and Bill has 2 kids who are in and out. It's crazy and hectic, but I love my life now.
I keep in touch with Lee LaRocca (Sgambati), who sort of fills me in on old friends. I come out that way every now and then, too. Boy, Jersey has changed. I am not sure if I could live there anymore.
But I miss the good old days sometimes. The days of no responsibilities, no worries, other than "how does my hair look today?" or "The new zeppelin album is coming out soon, and I have enough money to buy it!" God, things were easy then, even though they didn't seem so at the time. I loved my little gang of friends. And wish that I could still see more of them.
All in all, all I can say is life is good!
