Mark's Story
My story...
Grew up in the South Bay...loved Hermosa, Redondo, and Manhattan equally...enjoyed every minute of growing up in a terrific location amongst a great family and friends. Didn't study hard enough, didn't put enough effort into sports I loved, but found love and devoted too much effort to it! El Camino was a stop-over...went into the military...met a great girl...she took pity on ...Expand for more
me and married me...raised some great kids...lived a wonderful life in the Rocky Mountains...retired from a university where I loved hanging out with young people...now spend winters in the warm south...summers in the mountains. Just wish I had stayed in contact with the wonderful people I grew up with and knew for so many great years. Mark Twain was right..."youth is wasted on the young!"
