Laura's Story
I would hope that my friends remember me as a loving, caring, happy & a witty person. I hope they remember my smile also.
The wildest thing I ever did in school was skip classes.
I would love to see Mrs Barr from East Paris Elementary as she was very sweet and I thought she was great.
The biggest surprise for me is that I raised my children by myself and I am very happy about that.
I have lived in Paris, Tx, New Orleans, La, Atlanta, Ga, Springdale, Ar, Houston & Wharton, Tx, New Mexico, Alexandria & Slidell, La, Saulsberry, Md, Bailey, Lakewood & Morrison, Co, Casellberry, Longwood, Lake Mary & Sanford, Fl.
My job moved me around a lot. But there where some places I wanted to go but I would have never spent the money to do it & my job sent me there.
The one persons from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mother & Dad, because I miss them.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to Heart Foundation, then spend the rest on family. I would open bed & breakfast in the Rocky Mountains.
I never lived in a dorm nor lived on a campus.
I would be happy living in the Rocky Mountains in a cabin, with my animals loving the mountains, seasons & snow. I made a great mountain woman when I was living there before.
My current age is 63. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be caring. I was so completely correct.
My first crush, I don't really know what ever happened to him.
My best friend would tell you I'm crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as strange.
I don't recall the weirdest job I ever had. I enjoyed them all.
I share my home with my youngest son and his 7 year old son , which I find great.
I don't think I would do anything different if I could have a do-over.
In 10 years, I hope to be with someone that loves me for me. I'm going to get there by never stop looki...Expand for more

My oldest friend is Roselynn, she was with me when my Mom was killed & we have been the best friends ever since. She has been through a lot with me.
My first job was at Hooper Holms Insurance Investigation, where I got paid 8.00 per hr. to file. What I remember most about it is the people..
When I was six years old and we had just mover back to New Orleans, my parents let me go to Mardi Gras with their friends and I got away from them when I saw Hopalong Cassidy, because I wanted to shake his hand & I did, but when I turned around I didn't see them. I was lost the Police took me to where the King & Queen of Mardi was till my Dad came to pick me up. No I was not scared, I was having fun.
I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I listen to Country Music to relax. I have learned to shut out the outside world so I can relax and it really works
.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have great pay, benifits, and make my own hours to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My heros' are my children. They have been my reason for living. They are a gift from God.
I have a Toy Poodle, Munchkin is my heart. I love this little guy. He is my best friend.
I enjoy watching Are you smarter than A 5TH Grader, Deal or No Deal, Wipe Out & Dog the Bounty Hunter.
I have been a Photographer for Life Touch and that was the best job I ever had as I loved taking pictures of the children and I did a lot of traevling. I had all the Mountains Schools and I loved it, in Colorado. I have also been in the Apartment Business and that was fun for me also.
I am a casual dresser and love it. I do dress up for Church and to go out, but I'm just a country girl.
