Hi All,
I have been doing geneaolgy research on African Americans in Rich Square,NC for the last 15 years. The families that I have gathered information on are HARVEY, PARKS, ASHE, WALDEN, ROBERTS, BALLARDS, MANLEY, RICHARDSON, LEWIS, JONES, TAYLORS and SCOTTS. I would like to talk to "anyone" who have been researching their families in Rich Square even if it is not one of the surnames listed above. "everyone" was connected somehow. Rich Square turned out to be a very progressive town and the africian americans played a large part in its development and history. I am a true genealogy addict and would love to converse with anyone on this subject. If you do not have any research I will check my database and see if I have any info that will help you on your family if you want to start.It is a very rich and rewarding endeavor.
