Workplace I spent the first 4 months of my Sophmore year (1951-1952) at LHS. Loved the school and all my classmates were great. I left after attending the Winter Fantasy dance, with my then boyfriend Jack Palmer, to join my dad who had been transfered from Luke AFB to San Angelo, Tx. Lost contact with everyone when my correspondence was lost when we moved that next summer to Bandera, Tx. I graduated from Bandera HS, where I was active in sports (basketball, tennis, and softball). We then moved to New Braunfels, Tx., where I commuted to San Antonio daily to work for USAA Insurance as a data entry operator. Live in Denver a short time, until it snowed in July. Don't care for the cold. Worked for the city. Came back to Texas, met my husband and worked for Kelly AFB, as the night supervisor for the Supply Locators. He re-upped in the Marines and we moved to Vista, Ca., as he was stationed at Camp Pendleton. Worked in the registrar's office, at Palamor College. Spent four years out there and then returned to San Antonio.
