James's Story
Life
In 1997 after 12 years of sole-proprietorship, Bill took a position as Graphic Designer for the University of Virginia. It's now been ten years and he's on job #3, currently doing Flash animation (and other things that are far less exciting) for Capital One. He's still a big Todd Rundgren fan, quite proud to have designed the 1992 Utopia reunion tour logo, and amazed he just designed and facilitated a 40 Years of Todd ad in Rolling Stone. Re-married in 1988, he shares two beautiful daughters--Danielle (1990) and Miranda (1994)--with his wife Lorrie. His folks (married for over 50 years now) and his younger brother, John (Westside class of '81), still reside in Augusta. Happy to have retired from globetrotting, Bill has found peace and tranquility as a permanent resident of Charlottesville, VA.

ng class has a significant factor in my life. When Robbie Alford and Mrs. Hoges attended the 25 year class of '76 reunion, that was truly impressive to me. No wonder they were my favorite teachers.
College
After two years at "Harvard on the Hill" (as we affectionately called Augusta College), I transferred to Georgia Southern and learned all about the Statesboro Blues first hand. Three years after graduation, I actually returned to Bulloch County as a resident, waiting tables at Archibald's Restaurant. Those are my days of wine and roses (but no hard liquor unless you broght it in from the Line!). I wonder where Tanya and Wendy are these days...
Military
OK... see if you can keep up: Butzbach, Frankfurt, Benning, Levinworth, Benning, Arlington, Bangkok, Benning, Cleveland, Augusta. 10 moves (and schools). 3 Countries (and continents). Conservatively over 100K miles. Thousands of steps (many on crutches). 6 Dogs. And all without touching my brothers in a 1963 Rambler station wagon.
