Mary's Story
Life
I married my sweetheart (who I dated in high school) in August 1971. We lived in Biloxi, where our son was born in July 1972, until Charlie got out of the Air Force in 1974. We lived in Gaithersburg, MD for 5 years. Our first daughter was born there. Moved to North Carolina in 1979 and have been here ever since. One more daughter was born in 1986. I have worked off and on thru the years, but am home now for health reasons.
Charlie was forced into retirement from Lucent in 2001, but found a second career later that year, thank goodness.

Our children all live within reasonable driving distance. We have one grandaughter and another little grandbaby on the way. Life is getting sweeter as we get older and I love that!
