Jon's Story

Life After graduating from Rialto High School I joined the navy and was first stationed in the Persian Gulf. Right about after a year I transferred to Hawaii for 3 yrs, which by the way was great! I was on the USS Russell and went on 2 deployments. During these 4 yrs I’ve been working on my Aeronautical Engineering degree. Now I’m at Camp Pendleton flying hovercraft and living in Oce...Expand for more
anside, CA. I’m also playing baseball for the Navy Baseball Team. Military I joined the U.S. Navy July 1998. Went to "A" school at VA Beach, VA and my first station was a PATRECONWING ONE Det Diego Garcia. I flew with P-3C for one year then got stationed on the USS Russell (DDG-59) Pearl Harbor, HI. I conducted 2 deployments in 3 years. Now I fly hovercraft at Camp Pendleton, CA.
