Karen's Story
After SWHS, I attended UT and graduated in 1974 w/a degree in Music Education. For the next 10 years I taught some level of music, married, and had my awesome son, Matt. Matt's dad (who was a football coach) and I eventually split and I spent the next 20 years as a school administrator...most of those years in the Round Rock ISD in Austin. I met my amazing husband Rick 7 years ago and we have been happily married for 5-1/2 years.

3. (That's Rick's idea of retirement!) I, on the other hand, retired from the school business in 2005 after 30 years! OK...so I did go back to work for the next 4 years after getting a little bored...but now I've "retired" again.
Rick and I are currently building a lovely home on our 55 acre ranch and are anxiously anticipating Matt's August 2010 wedding to an incredible young lady (Natalie).
I joined Classmates last week after hearing from Laurie Hannon Topham. Hey...it's been almost 40 years since we graduated! Let me hear from you!!!
