Yo.
After High School I joined the United States Marine Corps. Was I in for an awakening. After I got my ass kicked in boot camp they sent me to North Carolina for training and then in January of 2002 I was headed to my first duty station, Okinawa, Japan. Time flew by as I was atttached to the 31st MEU and deployed to Thialand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. After I spent one year in Japan it was time to do something else. ned to my first embassy in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The name says it all. That was the true heart of darkness. When I finished my assignment there then came the nice post of Lisbon, Portugal. Compared to the Congo this is night and day. Shortly after arriving they needed volunteers in Kabul, Afghanistan. So I volunteered and before I new it I was there. I served four months and returned to Lisbon. Currently I am in Lisbon and due to schedule back to the US in december 2005. I re-enlisted in the Marines and will be working in San Antonio once I leave portugal.
