David's Story
Life
Tried my hand at a hi-falutin private university (Furman), and then settled into 4 years at Ga. St. Got my BS in Geology in '82, then beat it out of Atlanta and moved to Seattle. Spent 4 years working in human services as a training supervisor with adults with disabilites, then moved into a lowly position with a psuedo-high-tech company as a paralegal. Got laid off in 1988, then went to a blind interview instead of the unemployment office, and it turned out to be Microsoft. Worked around and through the company for 12 years.

ace and where all 3 grandparents live), I secured a position with a Âdot-bomb in 2000(Netgov.com, out of Chicago), and they went under 6 months later. I worked as a consultant with Microsoft and on several entrepreneurial projects, including my own consulting company and several local, national, and international startups.
In 2003, I started back to work at Microsoft, where I remain until today.
Currently, I'm a Lead Program Manager in our Global Consumer Support group where I help run the business of giving all consumers a great support experience for Microsoft Products.
